Real ID Act

The Department of Homeland Security has issued proposed regulations to implement the Real ID Act, which will establish for the first time in our history a national identification card. Everyone who cares about privacy and government power should review and comment on these regulations. They can be found at The Homeland Security Department webpage

I am a Democrat, but I take my hat off to you. You are now a true leader of the emerging conservative movement with underlying principles, unlike the current lot of political operatives. I may not frequently agree with you (and sometimes I do) but I admire your adherence to the core principles. Your transformation since Clinton hopefully will reflect the transformation of the Republican party into a principled organization in the near future.
